And the Hercules of Greece is Hercules. It was named after Hera after the gods because Athena calculated Hera and let Hera accidentally save the demigod she hated. The Hercules of Rome is Hercules.
Hercules became a Hercules after his death, but he was an insignificant figure among the Olympus gods, just the gatekeeper of Olympus. But the Romans gave this Hercules a very heroic identity. In Rome, Hercules is the heroic god that everyone admires.
Now popularize some other knowledge: after Rome defeated Greece, it gave the Greek gods a brand new identity, but in the words of the Greeks, it is-embezzlement.
The god Zeus became Jupiter; the
god Poseidon became Neptune;
Hades became Pluto; the
queen Hera became Juno;
the god Aphrodite became love The god of Venus; the
god of war Ares became Mars; the
poor Athena lost the identity of the goddess of war and became a complete goddess. The goddess of war was replaced by the goddess of war, Bellos.
Even so, Greece and Rome are both great times, witnesses of history, and ancient civilizations.
