The story of the first day of Operation Overlord

Although there are many movies and TV series describing Overlord’s action, this film is still a classic and panoramic description of the event. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is a masterpiece. The addition of many movie stars has greatly enhanced the film. To give the simplest example: Sean Connery, the actor of 007, only played a small soldier role in the film, which is equivalent to a long-run trick. Just imagine how big the protagonist's wrist is.
The fly in the ointment is that our brother, even the 101st Airborne Division, played too little. The 82nd division that seemed to be airborne was able to fight, and the members of the 101st division became stragglers. Far less exciting than what was written in Brother Company:)
Hahaha, who makes me prefer Brother Company. The actual situation is due to the climate, organization and German ground artillery fire, and most of the airborne troops were torn apart. However, due to this fragmentation, the Germans mistakenly believed that a large number of troops were parachuted down, and the organized counterattack was also pale. If it is really concentrated and airborne, the Germans will recognize the strength of the Allied forces and kill those paratroopers who lack heavy weapons early.

It was pretty good to be able to shoot like this in those days. .

Private Flanagan: [to Clough] Sure, now; that did it.

    [notices Maud looks at him]
