A powerful ridicule about Normandy

I can’t bear to be touched by this movie
poster: The helmet of an Allied soldier on the beach where the gunpowder is full of smoke is turned over there alone, which
makes people worry that it will be heavy and bloody
... The
judgment is obviously wrong again, but it
is the best thing I have seen about Normandy. A relaxing film...the
evil bell tower,
crappy bagpipes
, passing by German soldiers
flying to the enemy-occupied area, homing pigeons on the
verge of expiring champagne
, nuns crossing the battlefield in a chic
...
3 hours of
cumulative total appearing There are no fewer than 50 characters,
but I can actually remember all of their deeds. I
have to say that the story of this procrastination movie is profound
...
not without death,
not without blood,
but all the heavy things are used by the director. A lot of absurd bridges It’s
wicked, hahahaha
, when
I watched those two crappy French soldiers, one fat and one thin, boarding Utah Beach, I laughed out proudly
...
well,
this is a triumphant war movie
. The joke is not achieved by slandering the Germans,
but by pure heroism and self-seeking
...After
watching a certain soldier loses, holding a gun that has not been fired for a whole day, the fan is staring and sternly wandering around the village. when
I once again laugh spray

...
1962
Hahaha What a great era

I'm not very interested in war movies at ordinary times. I can't believe that the 3-hour old movie has been watched. There is no modern special effect rendering and no special description of heroes and greatness. It gives people a very real feeling. Judgment made me immerse myself in it, as if I had participated in this difficult decision! After the Führer's Department refused to dispatch the armored division, I joined the German camp and was so angry that I wanted to rush in and slap him in the mouth.

A few days ago, I revisited this film that I watched when I was a child, and it felt very good. It was a simple sentence and it was exciting. The film is so grand and majestic, full of masculine beauty and masculinity. . .

The Longest Day quotes

  • Maj. Werner Pluskat: [on the phone again] You know those five thousand ships you say the Allies haven't got? Well, they've got them!

  • [Blumentritt has just gotten off the phone with General Max Pemsel on Allied airborne landings behind Normandy]

Major General Gunther Blumentritt: Pemsel is convinced this is the invasion.

Field Marshal Gerd von Rundstedt: No no no, I do not agree with him. This is my conclusion.

[Von Rundstedt points to the main map]

Field Marshal Gerd von Rundstedt: Normandy is the site of a diversion. A diversion, Blumentritt! That is not where the main landings will take place, that will come at Pas-de-Calais, where it was always expected!

[Von Rundstedt then realizes what he has just said]

Field Marshal Gerd von Rundstedt: [to himself] Where we always expected it.

Field Marshal Gerd von Rundstedt: [to Blumentritt] We can't take any chances. I want the reserve panzers moved forward.

Major General Gunther Blumentritt: But we need permission from the Fuhrer's headquarters.

Field Marshal Gerd von Rundstedt: They won't dare refuse me! Call the Fuhrer's headquarters and insist. Insist, Blumentritt! Insist the panzers be released to me.

[as Blumentritt leaves the office to call Berlin, Von Rundstedt returns to the main map]

Field Marshal Gerd von Rundstedt: A landing at Normandy would be against military logic. It would be against ALL logic.
