A romance film wrapped in a mental shell. I don't know if Poe's original work is the same. I can't give a high score even if I poke it without itching.

It's hard to talk about the horror, all kinds of reversals are quite funny, and it's hard to get a spoiler at a time. It's really interesting that big names gather to play a crowd of mental illnesses. Abandoning part of the long and disjointed plot and too dark tones, it's a pleasant surprise in general.
