"Aguirre, God's Wrath"
The blood, guns, archery, etc. inside are very random, and more symbolic is used, which is understandable. But the rough recordings and dull group performances can't justify the mouth shape. It's still a five-star work, with successful characterization, Aguirre's actor is very good, and the drama is also very strong, quite like a stage play.
The wet video and the wonderful plot are actually more flavorful the more you think about it.
Uh, it turned out to be the director of "Happy People". .
reading notes:
The cost of the film is 370,000 US dollars, of which one-third is Kinsky's remuneration. Because of the limited cost, Herzog could not afford too many people to film on the river, so the entire crew had less than 10 filming crews. Sometimes, in order to have breakfast, he had to sell his boots or watch.
Herzog's works have always attached importance to the insinuation and metaphor of the landscape to the human heart, and the film has brought this into full play.
The film allegorizes historical events, but also expresses the collapse of a certain social order and the failure of fantasies in the face of reality.
A good movie is the kind that can subvert your understanding of existing movies and make you want to pick up the camera after watching it.
