crazy

This comedy still has a little meaning, at least it has connotation. After watching the great pain, it made me recover a little bit.

O'Neill and Lars are a pair of brothers. Their father died and left a rope factory that was about to close down, an old house used by debtors to pay off debts, and a half box of Cuban cigars.

O'Neill is a chef at a top restaurant, and he only knows money and status. After evaluating the value of the other two items, I took the cigar and went to prepare for the mayor's dinner. Surprisingly, the cockroaches crawling out of the cigar scared the mayor to death, making O'Neill impoverished and losing his money and status. Lars took over his father's factory, because his father's last wish did not sell the factory that was of little value for a long time, and he let his wife go out. The two desolate brothers had to live in the remaining old house.

By chance, they discovered that the house turned out to be the masterpiece of the late famous architect, and the two brothers decided to auction the house to make a fortune. However, the house needs renovation, and there is a mouse inside!

This unusual mouse caused two people to invite the most terrifying overlord cat in the world. As a result, the cat was tortured and weakened by the mouse; they hired a professional crazy mouse catcher, and the mouse turned into a neurosis. In the end, it was also because of the mouse. At the last moment of the auction, the house was tossed down. There is nothing left for both of them.

Back to the rope factory in desperation, unexpectedly, the mouse also followed, and made an edible rope with cheese. The two finally discovered a new life, and began to live together peacefully with the mouse. A new rat gourmet was born from this. The portrait of his father smiled.

This is a film that combines Tom & Jerry and Mouse Gourmet. Based on his earlier age, he probably didn't copy it first. The humor and the philosophy behind it can really make people smile.

Mousehunt quotes

  • Lars: Some things are more important than money, Ernie.

Ernie: Notice it's always the financially challenged who say that?

  • [first lines]

Lars: [at their father's funeral, they carry his coffin down the steps of a cathedral] Hold your end up higher, you're not holding it.

    Ernie: I am too.

    Lars: You are not.

Ernie: Don't worry about me. Hey, isn't that suit charcoal?

    Lars: No.

Ernie: Looks charcoal gray to me, some gray polyester blend. Couldn't even find a black suit for your own father's funeral.

    Lars: It's black.

Ernie: No, I'm sure it's gray.

    Lars: It's black.

    Ernie: Gray.

    Lars: Black.

    Ernie: Gray.

    Lars: Black!

Ernie: Fine, it's black. It's the grayest black I've ever seen.

Lars: It doesn't matter what color it is!

[the handle on the coffin breaks off and the coffin slides down the steps]

Lars: I'm sorry, Pop! I'm sorry!
