[28 Days of Surprising Change] OST, I can’t find the version in the movie everywhere (there are other versions on the Internet, but they are not as shocking as the unaccompanied alto in the movie). I have to upload one and try it. This piece of music was 21 minutes and 42 seconds shortly after the beginning of the film. After saying "Let's go find Jim's parents", the music sounded very softly in my ears, as if a child was calling helplessly. Then Jim saw his parents who had taken too much medicine and died. The volume of the music increased slightly, and the protagonist CILLIAN MURPHY's melancholy and dazed expression was too suitable.
Most of the original soundtrack of this film is simple repetition. It may be a bit boring to listen to it alone, but such music is very shocking when watching a movie. When I watched the movie, I found that the soundtrack of the film was so good, it was really creative.
The lyrics given above by Baidu seem to be another version, for reference only:
abide with me - 28 days later
Artist: hayley westenra Album: celtic treasure
Abide with me; fast falls the eventide;
The darkness deepens; Lord with me abide.
Hayley Westenra
When other helpers fail and comforts flee,
Help of the helpless, O abide with me.
Swift to its close ebbs out life's little day;
Earth's joys grow dim; its glories pass away;
Change and decay in all around I see;
O Thou who changest not, abide with me.
Hold Thou Thy cross before my closing eyes;
Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies.
Heaven's morning breaks, and earth's vain shadows flee;
In life, in death, O Lord, abide with me.
