The film revolves around expounding a theme, that is, love is irresistible. At least, the hero in the film cannot resist love at all. He originally regarded love as insignificant, and he only required his wife to be young and fertile. Facts have proved how wrong he is, in fact, he is the world's most infatuated species. The reason why he could understate it so lightly was only because he hadn't known the heroine yet. When he encounters love, he rushes into the fire like a blind moth. Not to mention that Wanguan's family wealth was gone, he was still alive and well.
Of course, these crazy behaviors must be based on the heroine's enough charm, otherwise the audience will not feel like being bewitched by true love, but "lard". Fortunately, Angelina Jolie gave me enough persuasive power.
Like many other roles of Angelina Jolie, the heroine is full of charm, yet she has such a powerful force that makes her irresistible.
