Comedy/Before, I have always been curious about what Zhou Qimo's comedy is popular abroad and makes jokes by taunting disadvantaged groups. Luc Besson gave me a good example. Regrettably, I did not see any dissolution of the sanctity of "political correctness". Instead, I tasted the arrogance that originated from mainstream groups. People with low self-esteem tend to get a sense of superiority from objects who are more unbearable and can judge their opinions. This is the psychological motivation for judging ugliness. So no matter how multi-sounding language is used to package it and its similar comedy form, to me, its essence is still kitsch. This contemporary secular myth built for some mainstream groups is nothing but a bizarre feast of ugly appraisal in the eyes of others. For marginalized groups, such as blacks, babes, and deaf people, who are treated as jokes in the film, it may still be an offensive meal.
Science fiction/Mars Rescue is science fiction because it embodies the aesthetics of science and technology; this man from the earth is science fiction because it has a science fiction core that discusses philosophical propositions. Although the director can tell stories, the film has neither technological aesthetics nor sci-fi core. It can only stop on popcorn films and cannot touch real sci-fi. Forgetting that one is a human being, looking down at the whole world and examining the living conditions of human beings from a larger time and space span is the fundamental reason why most people are obsessed with this subject matter. Hollywood's abuse of the future background makes the word "science fiction" cheap.
Female image/1. Seeing Keben's yearning for the "perfect woman" in the opening title, do you recall Luo Ji's obsession with the lover in his dreams? The similarity between these two love stories lies in the lack of female dominant status. They are all written for the male protagonist alone, and the female protagonist, as the object of scrutiny, has no initiative or even desire (reflected in the film as ignorance of love). 2. Although Lilu was described as invincible as a "savior" in the early stage, after Cobain appeared, she was still inevitably reduced to a fragile "saved". At the critical moment of the end, she still needs to rely on men. Use your strength to complete your mission to save the planet. In contrast, killing Bill is very valuable. After reading it, I decided to soar one star for the lovely Quentin.
