Wisdom to love struggling under the white

This is a very old movie, more than 40 years before I was born, but it does not prevent me from enjoying it.
Although the Hollywood movies of that era were very old-fashioned, they always attracted me.
There are a lot of witty dialogues in the film, no special effects, and rely on plot and dialogue to attract the audience.
And I happen to be more nostalgic, so I often watch some of these movies.

The heroes and heroines in the story are very clever. This kind of love between two people can be imagined. Struggle is inevitable. This kind of struggle is still evenly matched. It is a tug of war and will not end with a sudden defeat by one side.
In the arena of love, who can be the true winner? Is the aggressive party? Or the one who knows how to back down? Or can a compromised peace be achieved only when both parties concede? The movie will tell us.

I like the way the male protagonist deals with his rivals. This is a person who is unscrupulous in business. For love, it is the same as for business, as if the two are no different. This is also a kind of wisdom. I like him because I lack his means. Love does not only rely on love to have a perfect ending, but also has a method. The leading actor is very methodical.

While pursuing love, he did not forget to do a business, as if he mixed business and love together. Of course, if love can be obtained with business, why not do it? But what if it is a dilemma? Either business or love, how should the leading actor choose? The story gave us a Hollywood-style ending, but I believe it is really difficult to choose for people like the male protagonist in reality.

In the end, under the compromise of both sides, a perfect ending. The misunderstandings, coincidences, and conflicts brought about in the process bring us joy.

If you put it in a category, then I put it in a romantic comedy. Hope we can get some enlightenment from it.

Recommendation index: five stars.
