Recently, a conference on promoting the optimization and upgrading of the Latin American specialty pharmaceutical industry structure and driving the sound development of related industries was held in Arizona. Relevant responsible comrades from the FBI and the Central Intelligence Agency and representatives of relevant practitioners attended the meeting.

It has had a certain impact on the stability and harmony of the US-Mexico border area and the sustained and healthy development of the specialty pharmaceutical industry. All parties concerned should do their best to actively promote the transformation and upgrading of the specialty pharmaceutical industry in Latin America and follow the path of sustainable development.
The representative of the Central Intelligence Agency pointed out that the development of the specialty drug industry is related to the overall situation of U.S.-Mexico relations. Throughout history, the drug industry has always been a stabilizer of U.S. society and the ballast of U.S.-Mexico relations. It must be maintained and developed well. It is of great significance. Therefore, we must resolutely implement the federal government’s general policy of “overall controllable and structural optimization” for the specialty drug industry. Relevant departments must effectively plan and implement relevant industrial policies. Harmony, vicious competition and barbarous development of backward production capacity; at the same time, vigorously support a group of green development, good enterprises that are conducive to the harmony of the border and the long-term development of the industry, so that rewards and punishments are differentiated and guided in an orderly manner. Industry representative Alessandro said that the transformation and upgrading of the specialty drug industry is of great significance to the regulation of the industry’s order and competitiveness. For a long time, Latin American specialty drug companies have relied on the United States, the world’s largest drug market. Continuous development and growth are inseparable from the federal government’s policy concerns. At this critical period of industrial transformation and upgrading, all employees in Latin America have reasons, obligations, and responsibilities to actively cooperate with the federal government’s supply side. The various requirements of the reform will realize the harmony and stability of the border and the sustainable development of the industry.
