The "Latent" series has always been the most exciting series of horror films I think. There are four "Latent" in total. When I watched the first "Yin Er Fang", I thought that according to its narrative method, the story setting would not have the following. This "Locking the Undead" inherits the style of the "Latent" series, especially the "Red Door" that is looming in the dark throughout the entire story. Suddenly a word? Suddenly a face? People often fear not from what has been seen or known, but from the world we can't see. This one is still very successful in creating the atmosphere, with a compact structure. The part where I entered the "distant state" and met myself when I was a child reminded me of the second film, the heroine and psychic found the "perverted murderer" when I was a child, time and space The interlacing is very clever. The paragraph about the female protagonist’s parents is also particularly innovative. When the female protagonist climbed into the ventilation duct to open countless corpses of those imprisoned, the narrow space, the single line of vision, the sound of water droplets and the opening of the box locked in the duct. The reverberations in the horror atmosphere create a very hearty atmosphere. However, a love line was inserted in the movie, and it felt a little abrupt in the tight plot and tense atmosphere. I don't know if I intend to pave the way for the next story that will be inherited by Elis' niece. I don't know. Regarding the devil, the whole picture is revealed in this movie. I feel that the portrayal is okay. However, the moment it came out, I was a little disappointed. The fear behind me was a little lost by "Clear the World". Although the plot requires it, the appearance is also very good. Not bad, but still less fear after watching. It is strongly recommended that viewers who like horror movies try to choose this movie.
