Watch "American Gangster", Reivew on American Gangster

This film is a recent popular film, typically well received and well received, with rave reviews, IMDB 8.4 points, North American box office champion for several weeks. Strong lineup directed by Ridley Scott ("Blade Runner", "Gladiator", "Alien", "The End of the Road", "Stickman"...), two Oscar actor Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe, plus the screenwriter of "Schindler's List." It's almost a must-see film, and it's also a favorite for Chong-Ao.
A rare gang epic film in recent years, which is closer to "The Godfather" in form. It tells the life of a native American black gang boss. Denzel Washington's performance is so outstanding that I am blown away. Compared with the role played by Russell Crowe, this excellent policeman is a bit boring and lacks bright spots. The overall quality of the film is indeed very high, better than that of Lao Ma’s "Infernal Affairs" last year.
