Unforgettable black humor

Some film critics said that this is a film that makes people feel uncomfortable, and I agree. This movie makes you laugh from laughter to incapable of smiling, and then feel chills.

A young couple rented a villa. On the second floor of the villa lived a weird old woman whose behavior seriously disrupted their new home life. When they were affectionate, the old lady would ring their doorbell, or even stand and peek outside the window. The tedious personality of the old lady made them exhausted, and their new home life became a nightmare. In order to cope with the old lady, the young couple came up with various methods, but they were all resolved by the old lady one by one. The young couple ended up in embarrassment in each contest. As a result, the wife lost his job and the husband lost an important one. Work contract. The old lady in the film not only caused headaches for the young couple, but also made the audience intolerable towards her.

It should be said that the fight between the young couple and the old lady is wonderful and funny, but the story is cruel: as neighbors living together day and night under the same roof, they are intriguing and fighting for personal gain, and even hired assassins to participate in it.

The first half of the movie was full of contradictions, anger and conflict, so towards the end, the young couple reluctantly sold the house at a low price and the old lady suddenly passed away. The couple sat on the park bench and felt peaceful. This is the peace they regained after experiencing many things. This is the perfect ending that this movie should have. But the director didn’t think so. The film gave a surprising ending: the old lady, the police officer and the real estate agent were originally in the same group. They used the old lady’s tricks to make a batch of tenants. If you can't stand it, you return the house at a low price, thus earning money from the tenants. This is even more sad.

When watching the first half of the film, I naively thought that the young couple and the old lady would finally resolve their conflicts and get along with each other. When I saw the film approaching the end, I felt that after the old lady died, the young couple would get a sense of life and relief and the film would be warmly. Draw a full stop, but when the real ending comes, I know that my thinking is still absolutely Chinese-reject cruelty and long for gentleness. Perhaps Hollywood's thinking still lacks conformity.
