"Firewall" is tailor-made for Ford, but he seems to be no longer suitable for charging with this equipment after his sixtieth birthday.
The story is actually very old-fashioned, and the addition of fresh elements is just to fill the numbers. Just listening to the name seems to be a very high-tech criminal method, but the film does not pay much attention to high-tech. The main story is the story of lone heroes fighting against bandits.
The criminals' methods of crime seemed very clever. At the beginning of the film, I thought it was the satellite surveillance system of the National Security Bureau that was monitoring the Stanfield family. Almost everything is covered, there is nothing to hide. However, the fact that they used to pretend to be a pizza shop employee to open the door was a little bit lacking in technical content. And the Stanfield family has such a good alarm system. Beth opened the door without seeing who was outside. It was really a waste of money to settle it. In addition, it has been criticized by many people. The bandit only kills his accomplices and does not kill the hostages; the hostages are taken away with the dog; the dogs are noisy and are released on the spot, and they are not afraid of revealing their whereabouts.
But there is nothing wrong with it. Watching the movie itself is a kind of humanistic activity. I believe that half of the people who watched this movie were because of Harrison Ford. They only watched Indiana Jones back then. What they remember is their own life and mood at that time. Just like old songs can evoke memories, we are watching Indiana Jones, not Jack Stanfield.
