"Escape" seems to be a story about mothers overprotecting their children and unable to let them develop freely. However, while the movie tries to give the audience a chance to understand Diane's mood, it also uses a major plot twist in the latter part of the story. , Reveal the terrible dark side hidden behind this mother-daughter relationship. On the surface, Chloe is a life fighter who bravely fights his own disease as a premature baby, and Diane is the mother who supported her daughter behind her, but in the end it was not only Diane’s premature daughter who died two hours after her birth. Chloe, as a healthy baby she stole from the hospital, all the illnesses come from the unknown drugs her mother has given her over the years.

"Escape" ends with Chloe feeding Diane the paralysing drug, and it completely shows that a child who has been subjected to domestic violence or is in an unhealthy family will not be traumatized even if his body gradually improves. Therefore, the hatred of the parents will never disappear. Therefore, how do we avoid turning our love into harm to our children? Don't let a seemingly caring and considerate sentence: "I'm doing it for your own good." Become an emotional blackmail that forces a child to embark on a path she doesn't want to take? I think they are all issues worthy of our consideration.
