"Summer in Jeans" tells the story of four women. Maybe this expression is not accurate enough, but I am still wayward not to say that they are girls. At the age of teenagers, adolescent children are far worse than adults. What's more flavorful is the friendship between them, which is completely different from the male two-sided knife style or the fox and dog party style, but the feelings of women who are truly considerate and sympathetic to each other.
The friendship between these four women began in the womb. Really, their mothers do prenatal exercises in the same maternity aerobics center. Then, they were born one after another; then, they became great buddies; then, they had to make the first parting in a certain summer; and then, that pair of jeans turned out to be born, in a small shop, they accidentally discovered this A pair of magical jeans, for no reason, fits perfectly with their very different body. Therefore, they agreed to wear these pants in this separate summer, and when they mailed them to the next sister, they would also write down the wonderful experience of wearing magic pants.
The whole film has a rare fresh taste. It is rare because it is not as light as white water, nor is it at a loss or disorder and incomprehensible. The four little sisters have their own stories, but the outlines of the stories are clear, orderly, and cleverly connected.
Lena returned to her hometown in Greece and lived with her unfamiliar grandparents. She is not accustomed to the local accent, enthusiastic relatives, and the self that constantly wants to change. Lena, who was originally quiet and beautiful, saw a handsome boy on the beach and fell into the water. The jeans were entangled with debris on the sea bottom, but fortunately the boy was rescued, which triggered her favor. Who knew that the boy's family and Lena's family were enemies, so Lena swore to her grandmother that she would not have anything to do with the boy.
Tibby has been a maverick since he was a child, and he loved shooting documentaries when he grew up. In order to buy a new filming machine, she worked in a supermarket during the summer vacation. The work is boring, the boss is boring, all the interviewees seem to have made the wrong string, and her three friends are far away, which makes her emotionally extremely bad. Then, a little girl fainted in the supermarket. She happened to be beside her, rushing to help. Carmen's parents divorced and she lives with her mother. She is going to spend the summer vacation with her father. Tibby gradually discovered his limitations under the influence of Bailey. The dull and frustrating life, recorded alone, has become more and more desperate. But a different state of mind, a different kind of thinking, on the contrary, there is limitless vitality. However, such a clever and frank Bailey is indeed a blood cancer patient, and she decided to give up chemotherapy on her own. Maybe her life is too short, and she is afraid to spend the limited time on limited treatment. The short life continuation is not her expectation. Her small life, eager to position her own life, may be a glimmer, at least it will not be meaningless. Tibby brought that pair of jeans to Bailey on the hospital bed, hoping that a miracle would happen and the disease would disappear. Carmen discovered that her father's taste has changed, his lifestyle has changed, and his love for her has also changed. Her future stepmother is beautiful and elegant, slightly neurotic, completely different from her. The stepmother's two children are also incompatible with her.
