The film Terms of Endearment stars Debra Winger and Shirley MacLaine. It is about deep relationship of a mum and her daughter. Understanding and misunderstanding, quarrels and laughters, intimate relationship and love affairs, devotion and sacrifice of the woman to children and family, making mistakes, getting cancer and leaving the world at last, though the world still rolls on...

What a great film! Everything is delivered naturally with film director and screenwriters James L. Brooks' efforts.

What a life! Many things could be understood from the film. No wonder it won the Best Picture at the 40th Oscars.

It made me cry several times when Emma (by Debra Winger) is about to pass away.

What life really means to us? This film has reminded me of my parents and will keep reminding of thinking about the philosophy of life.
