2. The original work of "World War" was a novel in 1898, and it was made into a movie in 1953. But this version of Lao Si now seems to be a relatively "alternative" blockbuster. How much money it costs but not to make people feel exciting. Different from general catastrophe blockbusters, it simply follows Tom Cruise with a single clue. There are no reporters, politicians, and scientists. There is no war, and the aliens are completely self-defeating.
3. This film turned out to be a horror theme. Its 1938 radio drama made millions of people tremble and cry with fear, and escaped from their homes, and Lao Si also threatened to "roll the audience out of their seats". That's why the atmosphere in the whole film is a bit low and depressing, and Lao Si obviously deliberately biased it towards psychological terror. I don't know how the Americans reacted, but I didn't feel scared when I watched it anyway.
4. Maybe this story costs less money, and it might be scary to find an independent film director to do it.
