War without heroes

Platoon is one of my favorite war movies. Unlike works of similar themes, there are basically no heroes in it. This is the type I like. When I was young, I watched Chinese black and white war movies, and the Communist Party in it was not afraid of death. The hero was shot and shaken on the screen for a few minutes before he fell down. Before he died, he also had to say a lot of life and death last words that made people hear the goosebumps. The characters portrayed in Platoon feel more real. One point, they complain about the war, they are greedy for life and fear of death, and they are intrigue...This kind of film is very shocking.
