I really can't bear to give three stars, but I still want to give three stars, two stars are for Martin Freeman's (acting), and one star is for cute baby.
First of all, the first half of this movie was really annoying to me. The switching of the shots made me play in minutes, and there were so few poor zombies in the whole film, I could only sigh with emotion, "It's really a vast area and few people!". There should be a few points of tension, which are completely unnerving. For example, Andy found a car on the shore with his wife and daughter, and then Andy refueled outside. His wife saw a harmless zombie slowly approaching them. It can really be taken more compactly, there is no need to be so procrastination. , and the faces of the zombies are not given a close-up, which does not create a sense of urgency, let alone horror, I am really afraid that the zombies will break their legs.
Also, in the part where Vic kept Andy and the little black girl in the cage, the zombies outside were finally satisfied, just fighting for the intestines to eat.
Also, the part where Vic drove after Andy and the little black girl was completely unnerving. I wasn't worried about Andy's father's safety at all.
The first half was to save insomniacs. I didn’t sleep, and I held back and didn’t fast-forward much.
In the second half, I was still very moved. Andy carried the baby and walked with the injured little black girl. He kept talking to the little black girl along the way, and asked the little black girl to teach him some of their ethnic languages. When it comes to friends When talking about this word, he said that he liked it more, and this paragraph has a very strong feeling that they are friends and support each other to move forward (I am the person who wrote a comma to the end as the teacher said).
There are also eyes that can't see the intestines and move forward, touch his wife's perfume, a good man who values love and righteousness.
At the end, the "thank you" on the baby's belly was really tearful (but I didn't cry).
However, none of this can save the film. The film was really boring and long. I watched it twice, once by myself, and the second time with my mother, who said it was very touching. Haha, but she didn't look at it seriously at all, she just lowered her head and played with her phone. After the performance, she didn't even know the general plot. I was always beside her explaining the plot to her.
All I can say is that the pace is too slow to attract attention. Some of the cuts were so inexplicable that my mom couldn't read it and didn't know what was going on. Sound isn't enough either. After watching this film, I just want to say that Andy's beard looks so old.
If it's his fan, it's enough to see him. If it's not his fan, just want to watch zombies and seek excitement and horror, then you will definitely be disappointed.
The film is adapted from a short film, and there is more or less suspicion that it has grown into a film. The plot is very weak, and many complexes have a feeling of being unclear. However, the theme is still very obvious, and there is basically no digression.
To be precise, this is like a documentary about a trendy boy hiking with a baby, and by the way, enjoy the scenery of Australia.
Finally, I think it's too high for this film to get 6 points, (below 5 points...) and I really want to be hugged and held high by Andy's father, he is really a caring dad.
Finally, the line between the little black girl and her father is also very touching.
