It's a real event, so it's even more ridiculous
Laugh more and more sad
Because whether you admit it or not
We are all doomed to mediocrity
I was probably stupid when I was a kid, and I was probably smart
When I was very young I read from books that the sun has seven colors
I told the kids around and they all burst out laughing
things like this happen often
I always think differently
always ridiculed
I've felt so special ever since
can't be like them
I thought one day
Aliens will fly flying saucers to pick me up
Or like the Eight Immortals crossing the sea
I am a fairy left in the mortal world
just not found
So whenever there is thunder and lightning
I always lie by the window looking at the sky
Watch the dark clouds roll, watch the lightning pierce the sky
I always feel like a dragon will come to pick me up in the next lightning bolt
And I have to keep watching, lest the dragon will not find me when it appears
I've done a lot of stupid things
There are so many stupid ideas in my head
By now, the idea that the flying saucer might appear
Still occupying the most secret corner of my head
Thus, after decades
Prove that nothing special
And I'm very mediocre
