I'm in your heart - On "Hitlerism"

Honestly, this is the most profound comedy I've seen this year. The film wants to convey too much, too complex, and too profound. I feel like I can't list them all, I can only think of where they are written. I hope you will forgive me.

Did Hitler really cross? I myself am more inclined to think that what the film wants to convey is that Hitler's "spirit" has passed through - not the "body". The film doesn't account for how Hitler made it through, it just perfunctories with a cloud of fog (which I suspect is also a hint). This shows that Hitler is by no means as simple as passing through the body, but is alluding to the "resurgence" of xenophobia and conservatism.

"But what's on our TV, garbage TV." The film splits a considerable part to satirize the modern consumption thought of "entertainment to death". The male protagonist thought of inviting Hitler to make a movie for the sake of money; Mrs. Bellini supported Hitler for personal gain; the bald deputy director hated the Führer, but was forced to cooperate with the Führer for the sake of ratings. And what about the people? At first, I watched the "Führer's farce" with an entertainment mentality, and then I began to support him, but when I saw the Führer shoot a puppy, he excluded him. Killing so many people is not hated, but killing a dog seems like a heinous crime. Is the life of a human being less important than that of a dog? It's not a question of values, it's just that the audience never takes "entertainment" in front of the camera seriously.

The film satirizes both the left and the right. It's also not a question of values. The problem is that the two sides always attack each other based on their own positions, and even continue to "snap hats" to restrain others from expressing objections. "Foreign children are very annoying, but I can't say that even if I say a few words, they will be accused of racism by their parents." Fascists persecute the weak, and the original intention of political correctness is to protect the rights of the weak and maintain fairness and freedom. But when "political correctness" becomes a tool to suppress speech and thereby hinder the freedom of others, does it create new inequalities? Has it become the new "fascist"?

I mentioned "Hitlerism" in the title - not Nazism, mind you. So what is "Hitlerism"? Hitler forcibly promotes Nazi ideology and imposes his own ideas on the people is Hitlerism; Hitler emphasizes racial nobility and purity, while advocating populism and xenophobia is "Hitlerism"; It is Hitlerism that the people examine without dead ends; Hitler deceives the people through the propaganda machine, and when he deceives the people, it is called "Hitlerism". "Hitlerism" has nothing to do with left and right, because it itself is synonymous with power politics, and its excuses, what does it matter?

"You can't kill me because I'm in your heart." Why was Hitler able to be elected to power by the people? Did the tricks of deception and coercion work? I don't think so. He was popular because he said things we were afraid to say, and because he did things that appealed to the dark side of our hearts. Hitler will not return, but his spirit has already blossomed all over the world, making a comeback. So, when misfortune comes, don't shirk responsibility with accusations, because, we are all executioners.
