The original is one of my favorite books when I was a teenager.
Unintentionally opened it in 2017, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was Annie's remake. The first episode was great, but after that it didn't quite match the original. (Actually, I almost forgot the original content at that time)
I just watched the second season and felt a little boring, because there were too many things inserted, such as robbers robbing money, such as Diana's parents' problems, such as forcing Gilbert to go out, even if they went out, there are still their scenes.
These people can't move the plot, I think it's too watery.
Watching the last few episodes of season 2, I've fully embraced that this is a new story.
Leaving the original to watch, the show is really good.
Because the characters are full and three-dimensional, everyone has their own past, and the story is more tortuous.
I especially like Annie's line.
Other! Gilbert is so handsome! When looking at people, there is a lot of affection, and there is a little evil.
