This is one of my favorite films directed by Zhang Yimou. It makes me sad to watch. At that time, our country was bullied and insulted and had no right to say. The ugly faces of those grandchildren I will never forget The students are running and crying and my heart is trembling. That's all what happened. Maybe the truth is even crueler. It's a high-quality work. The beauty is beyond skin. My heart hurts. I watched this movie over and over again but I still have the same feeling. It's so uncomfortable.
