The year the movie was released, I had already left the animation company, and I haven't dealt with animation work since then. At that time, the interest in animation was not as great as before. So this movie has never been exciting to watch. This time, it's a reluctance to make up for it, and it's just a quick look.
The plot is really boring, and there is no joke at all. The technical level was still okay back then, the movements were smooth, but nothing new.
There was no sequel to this great production because of its dismal results. The Hong Kong Yima Animation, which participated in the main production, produced the hugely expensive "Astro Boy" and concocted false box office time, which led to the company going bankrupt a year later. Once again, it shows that Chinese animation companies have technology, but creativity and storytelling skills are not.
