After watching the "simple" first half of the whole documentary, if I didn't know that Banksy was the director before watching it, I wouldn't have seen that it was Banksy's style. The turning point was that after Terry showed the edited film to banksy, the protagonist completely became Terry, until the final random graffiti exhibition was a great success, Terry became famous in the first battle and became the first and only banksy in the graffiti art world. Blindly following the artistic trend, it seems that graffiti art has become a form of mass entertainment, and its works have become huge commodities, which is completely contrary to the profound thinking on social phenomena that street art or banksy himself wants to convey.
It is really only after reading it to understand that this is a very banksy work! Of course I'm still curious how much of the "cinematic" component of this documentary is. Two suspicious points are listed below: 1. Probably everyone who watched it could clearly perceive the performance components of Terry's previous self-report, and that Terry eventually became a person who was disdained by artists. According to normal Interpersonal relationship analysis, Terry must be well aware of it, but still let it be filmed and released? As long as a normal person, the rules and regulations in it are enough to drink a lot of pots.
2. Judging from the works displayed in the venue and the time of creation, Terry's creation volume is simply exaggerated. Of course, the possibility of a flood of thoughts cannot be ruled out, but the probability is still too small.
However, if all this was designed and arranged, and Terry agreed to cooperate, and the exhibition works in the venue were jointly funded and planned by street artists, then everything would be reasonable. The film is, as it should be, a dramatic masterpiece. (It's purely my speculation and speculation, if you don't like it, don't spray it, thank you?)
