I got this movie a few months ago, but the resource doesn't have a name, which left me in a trance for a long time.
I haven't seen Mark Wahlberg for a long time. When we meet again, he is still a hero who leads the way to save the world. He holds everything, but this time he is full of madness.
The film tells the story of an elite squad of the CIA, tasked with doing some gray tasks. In order to obtain information on nuclear materials, they escorted the hostages to the airport and a series of conflicts occurred.
But the plot at the beginning of the film, which takes a lot of money to shoot the raid on Russian agents, has a different tone. For example, deliberately avoiding the low-key entry of the police, such as the remote monitoring and remote control of the command, such as unidentified but collecting procedural standards, such as confirming with the superior before shooting, etc. These details show a different spy team from ordinary movies: they belong to a regular spy organization, but their behavior is not formal enough, and the team can only sneak in the dark like a ghost.
Next, the life experience of Mark Wahlberg, the captain of the action team, began to flash. Some wondered why an action movie took so long to talk about his high IQ and neuroticism, only to find out later that this was to pave the way for the national game and ending of the whole movie, and of course it also led to his words and deeds as always.
This ghost team is not as harmonious as the love and harmony seen in ordinary movies. The captain is full of rambles and has no sympathy. The heroine is in a divorce and has to be a workaholic. There are several other teammates who laugh at each other coldly, just like in real life. Ji Feo in one place still insists on being each other's rational partners at work, which is chaotic and desolate.
The show really begins when action star Iko comes on the court and shows off his tendon. The combination of Mark Wahlberg's Western-style gunfights and Iko Oriental's neat punching scenes is really interesting. However, the gunfight scene was too weak, and the brave agents were shot to death one by one very "lucky", which contrasted that Iko was very brave, and even had the energy to turn around to save the agents. This hostage is not as good as the ghost team not playing.
For someone like Mark Wahlberg, every mission feels like a passionate performance, with so much success that it takes for granted. It's just that this time he missed, the double agent turned into three sides, the password became a Trojan horse, and the ghost team was completely destroyed except for him who was still immersed in the afterglow of success.
The happiest and the cruelest. Because he can finally get rid of those rambles of impermanence and spit on his fists just to start the next round of counterattacks. A new round of the game between the two powers behind this will start anew.
This movie is really refreshing, with as many highlights as it has flaws. Disorganized editing, mismatches and force values and rambling dialogue are definitely not neat enough for an action movie standard; but based on the true story background of the CIA, this movie has too much deeper meaning, unconventional plots and endings. A sense of fate in "Lord of War".
Sure enough, a young rock singer Mark Wahlberg and John Malkovich who likes to evolve together, this spark is not ordinary.
