A Trial of a Victor Germany is a sovereign country. How can the United States judge Germany on a human level? The experience of the Jews in World War II was indeed unfortunate, and what Hitler did was truly outrageous, but the United States could not go to Germany as an equal and sovereign state, and there was no jurisdiction between equals. As for the official behavior during the Nazi era, it is impossible to say whether it is legal or not. They were legal under the laws of the day, and that's history. Germans can only redeem themselves, there is no state above sovereignty, procedure is paramount, and there is law. The law is not retroactive.
