Russian Doll translates as a reincarnation party, with more spoilers and less subtlety.
Also because of the name Russian Doll, the show has been on Netflix for a while and has no interest in it. Until one day, after a closer look, the heroine (also one of the screenwriters of the show) turned out to be Nicky of OITNB, so it took 2 afternoons to watch S1 (hope to renew S2).
The episodes are short, 8 episodes a season, and each episode is only 25 minutes long. Not smelly or long.
The plot of new wine in old bottles maximizes the influence of the original family on adults. The mid-life crisis code farmer Nadia joined hands with the otaku Ala. After constant downtime and restarts, they finally found the bug and jumped out of the loop.
I really like the ending. Alan and Nadia from two different time and space walk side by side, meet with the parade team, and also meet with themselves in different time and space. Hope that the oatmeal after the meeting is still waiting for Nadia on the counter of the small shop.
