As an avid chainsaw fan, this one is the most disappointing. There are too many slots to count, and boring mechanical games can't bring any sense of tension, so the convoluted plot is completely nonsense. I still miss Wen Ziren, I hope he will come back to save his own son after saving Su Ji and DC one after another.
First complain about the killing device, the design without the countdown first lacks the sense of excitement, and the handover to the game content is even more ambiguous, just blindly telling you to obey the rules but the rules are not clear. The knife dropped from the barn, you are kidding me, and the big turntable of the motorcycle is just looking cool. Really, it's not as good as the cracked mouth, let alone the iron chain, can't see it Where is the ingenious reason, anyway, it is not so painful to look at. Several game victims have nothing to do with each other, the only connection is the unfolding of the two timelines, handing over another new chainsaw disciple. The development and growth of the disciples seems to be the only entry point for the Chainsaw sequel to continue to tear down. The screenwriter probably hates the guy who wrote the old jigsaw to death so early. But the threshold for joining the chainsaw door is a bit low, in order to maintain a sense of mystery, everything has to involve the old man, and no one can rest in peace when he dies. The IQ of the police is still offline in the whole film, and the ending can be imagined. It is another victory for the chainsaw door.
The only bright spot can be said to be the expression of dual timelines, which consistently gives answers at the end. Originally thought that the ending would be able to say "So it is", but it turned out to be "Nima, is this okay?" There is no surprise at all, everything is just self-explanatory, and we can only reluctantly believe your nonsense. It can only be said that Chainsaw 8 just sold a feeling, and after all, it cannot escape the fate of unfinished business.
