I thought it was a lighthearted movie - at least compared to the rest of Eddie's work. It doesn't touch on those medieval religions, nor the bumpy and shocking life experiences of a great man in history who deserves to be remembered. There was an evaluation of his ten most worth-seeing works on the Internet before, and this one was included. The introduction says that if you want to see a light-hearted movie, if you want to see a character closest to Eddie himself, [A Week With Monroe] would be a good choice.

After reading the synopsis of the story and the stills, I also deeply agreed. Therefore, this work was selected as a stop to say goodbye to Eddie. After all, I don't want to be too thrilling and disturbing, so such a work that makes people feel beautiful and sweet, but not so emotional, is really a good choice.

But it was this movie that exceeded my expectations, causing a series of rich and exciting thoughts to arise in my heart while watching and after watching it.

Eddie's Colin is so innocent and cute, but for the first time I hated him a little bit. Of course, it's been hours since I finished watching the movie. After going through a few diaries of drama reviews and other content, my mind started to calm down again. Realizing, that's what he's doing well, and it brings me into the story. Therefore, on the one hand, I feel a little distressed about this character, and on the other hand, I feel that he is not worthy of sympathy, and even a little disgusting and disgusting.

Colin, Monroe, and the girl played by Emma Watson. Let me define the relationship between these three as a love triangle. After a quick scan of several reviews, I found that almost all of them focused on Monroe. And to be honest, I really don't know anything about Monroe other than her sexy goddess image. The reason I found this movie was entirely out of Eddie. So the focus is more on the Colin he plays. I think the reason why I hate Colin is precisely because I have moved my feelings into the girl played by Emma who is responsible for the costumes and props of the actors behind the scenes.

So, every time Colin became more and more infatuated with Monroe, I became more and more disgusted, and even couldn't help but want to use the line in the film to ridicule his self-control: Do you think Monroe will fall in love with you? Forget it~ Even though he was still having an affair with Monroe, the two of them went nude swimming in the outing, kissed and shared the same bed when they were on call in the middle of the night, and they were about to have sex, he still said to Emma, what I like is you. This is the most annoying. If Colin is really empathetic, that's all. After all, which man doesn't love Monroe, let alone the invitation from the goddess, do you expect him to refuse? He is a man but he is not a saint. But while chatting with the sexy goddess, I was left out and urgently needed to find a spare tire to comfort me. It can only be said that whether it is Colin or Monroe, regardless of gender, status and reputation, people are always selfish and eager to be loved.

Did she break your heart?

A little.

Good. It needed breaking.

This dialogue is, in my opinion, the most exciting part of the whole film. The girl seems to have some subtext as if to say, you treat me as a spare tire, the back garden where you healed and recovered after being played by the goddess? come on !

It also reveals Colin's selfishness, whether he realizes it or not. It wasn't just him who was hurt, he hurt another girl too.

In terms of character charm, compared to the goddess Monroe, who has all kinds of styles and loves, this girl attracted me more deeply. She is the one who knows what she wants and what she doesn't want. She's stronger than Monroe - I don't worry about no one loving me, and I don't break down to the point of taking drugs because of work.

In a way, Colin and Monroe are so similar - they can't figure out who they really love and what they want. Did Monroe love Colin? I don't want to deny that there is no love between the two of them, but as mentioned in some film reviews, Colin is more like a gluttonous feast for Monroe. But you have to keep her fresh all the time, she knows very well that she can't do it, and it's not what she wants. While I don't think Monroe was just playing with malicious intent in the first place, she did. Because she knows how to choose, or because she is more selfish. A common problem that ordinary people have, and she is no exception as a top goddess.

Did Colin love Monroe? Ever since he hadn't actually touched her, he was like thousands of men, just sitting in the movie theater watching her frowns on the big screen, his eyes were straight. But that's not love, it's a fascination with the unreachable. Until later, because of his work, he had the opportunity to have a quiet distance, and he still kept a just right distance from her-even if he was a simple young man who had not yet been deeply involved in the world, he knew that the goddess was a goddess after all, and he was fortunate enough to see her so closely. It is a great luxury in itself, and he must be very happy. Until this relationship can be balanced and grasped, under the temptation of Monroe again and again, intentionally or unintentionally, it evolved into the later appearance.

Thanks to the girl Emma. (Sorry I don't remember what she was called in the movie, just call the actor by name...) To be honest, when I look at the stills, I don't have any expectations for the character itself. Although she didn't have many roles, she really touched me. The existence of this character is very progressive and inspiring, especially for women. Although her weight in the film is completely incomparable with Monroe. But she used her own decisiveness and sobriety to remind the world what a person's most important quality and pursuit should be. Not to be a goddess, but to be yourself. It is not that thousands of people hold countless loves in the palm of their hands, but that they have the ability to love themselves even if they are not loved.

When breaking up, Monroe gave Colin a lingering kiss. On the other hand, she made a merciless dialogue, and then threw her hands away without looking back. How unrestrained, how calm and self-contained - we don't owe each other, and I don't need you to have any nostalgia and fantasy for me.

As Colin said casually in the bar, facing the girl's question about Monroe's beauty, he replied: Not compared to you.

To Colin, this may have been an unintentional flattery and compliment. But for an ordinary audience watching a story off-screen, this is a heartfelt appreciation and love for her.
