I remembered this movie yesterday when I was reading the Mystery Island book, and I couldn't help watching it again. This is the second time I've watched the movie. The first time was several years ago. I almost forgot the plot, this time I watched it because I had a different experience compared to Mysterious Island. The narration at the beginning of the film says that for Verne fans, all the stories in its novels are true. So the protagonist embarks on a journey to find his grandfather. Eventually, they found the mysterious island near Palau. The plot of the film is not only mysterious, but also integrates the management island and many plots in "Gulliver's Travels". The mysterious island here is a combination of the characteristics of the three islands. It can spew out gold from a volcano, and then be the exact opposite of the body size of our real animals. Many plot settings are innovative and whimsical, especially when they finally found the submarine that Captain Mo left behind. In order to generate electricity, they used a huge electric eel to power the battery that has not been used for more than a hundred years. With a voltage of tens of millions of volts, such as riding a bee to climb a mountain, it is also a good idea to explain the mysterious island of Atlantis in the film. It also contains love, family, and friendship. And so on a variety of different emotional elements. It's just that Dwayne Johnson taught the male protagonist to shake his chest, which is a bit embarrassing. In general, the various elements contained therein were successful as a commercial film, as evidenced by its final worldwide box office results.
