Low profile + blindly revised 2012

I haven't seen such a bad American blockbuster for a long time. This film is simply a low-profile + blindly revised version of 2012. From the whole story to the characters, it is tedious and lacking in logic. For example, there is only one software engineer in a space station? The main control team is only five people? u kidding me? And the space station can still carry guns? A bodyguard next to the president not only has the authority to browse the confidential documents of the White House, but also can kidnap the president by himself. There is also a satellite control system that can be destroyed by a virus, and the forced shutdown actually requires the President's biological indicator? To put it badly, when the president hangs up on the road, the system will never be turned off? Not to mention the same mid-life crisis as the male protagonist, as well as his arrogant and stinky character, is the setting still the highest designer of the system? Who wrote the script? Is it a sci-fi movie if it imposes a space scene? Really speechless, fortunately I didn't go to the cinema to see it.

I wasted my time in Taipei watching this boring movie...

Is the director saving money or not showing the disaster movie scene we want to see, but the old-fashioned brotherhood and father-daughter relationship keeps stirring up a little disappointment. The Dutch boy's operation is completely unreasonable and simply asks how the tsunami in Saudi Arabia was recovered? Is the drainage system that strong? Finally a crazy call for Sarah! ! Putting on pajamas and lying on the bed is so sexy that it makes people drool, put on a formal suit, kidnap the president, drag a car and shoot, so handsome that people can't close their legs! !

Geostorm quotes

  • Ray Dussette: [Incredulous after Duncan starts a chain reaction] Self-destruct? Why would you build that into the station?

Jake Lawson: [Abruptly] In case it fell to Earth.

  • Jake Lawson: [on Dutch Boy] This was my life's work, Max. You know, they said it was impossible, but we pulled it off. And it worked perfectly, without fail, day after day, year after year, so what do people do with it? Turn it into a gun.
