Analyzing Story Mode:

Act 1: Use flashbacks to clearly explain the characters of the two protagonists: the family of the black Carl; and why the Master Chief was handcuffed. Carl's family environment, and his father's expectations for his success.

As the protagonist of Carl, he has a clear goal: to become a senior sergeant of the Navy. But he had to face the racial culture in the military and the rigorous training of the diving school.

At the third of the story, the pace slows down, and Carl begins to fall in love, meet a girl in the library, pass the exam with her help, and finally become his wife.

The villain in the first half of the story, the Master Chief, slowly becomes his comrade in the second half. They also went through the hurdles of their own lives, facing a common enemy (major), and in the last scene Carl successfully resumed his position with the encouragement of the Master Chief in order to fight for his return to the army.
