Who said this movie was funny?

I don't want to judge a character in a written work with my personal three views, but I tried my best to read it, and I always put on the same face as the heroine most of the time-the first word that popped out of my mind at this time was swearing , so I omitted it, please understand.

I can probably guess what the movie is trying to say, but I'm at a loss for what the protagonist does, and the only thing I can understand about her is that she's texting people in her mother's car, and all the other times , I can only work hard, keep trying, but I can't find the slightest sense of identity, substitution or inspiration.

Finally I finally found where I couldn't understand this movie. Everyone around the heroine is very nice, which makes the film unexpressive and convincing.

The Edge of Seventeen quotes

  • Mr. Bruner: [reading a text sent by Nadine to a boy she has a crush on] "You're complicated, and simple, and I feel this connection between us. I feel like I already know you." This is kinda sweet, I think you're overreacting. "I just want to be with you. I want to give you... head. I want you to put your mouth on my tits. I want to feel you inside me. We can do it in the Petland stockroom."

Nadine: Say something... Oh my God, say something! Please, help me!

Mr. Bruner: You need to watch out for run-on sentences.

  • Mona: I wanna go home, fix my hair, put on a beautiful face of makeup, the best dress I own, then take it all off and go to sleep.

    Nadine: Fun!
