I have always been addicted to this type of youth films, and like all kinds of cool girls (maybe I will never be such a girl. I have never written a film review, and I want to talk about some of the film and television dramas I have watched today. cool is a weird girl :)
The most weird should be Alyssa in "the end of the f**king world". She is defiant and doesn't care about everything, and she has a little yearning for beauty in the mourning. But even though she is so world-weary, she still has kindness and love in her heart.
The girls in "Juno" are even more daring and easy, and do everything without dragging their feet. Even in the event of an unexpected pregnancy, he still does not feel sorry for himself, but has the idea of handling things by himself.
There is also Max in Stranger Things, not to mention her relationship with the whole show, who can not love this kind of cool girl who can skateboard and play games.
Finally, Nadine in this movie is withdrawn, sometimes unable to integrate into the group, and likes old things. Some people are reluctant to try new things, and I think that's why she reacts so much to her only best friend and brother date.
I don't know why I'm always obsessed with girls like this, maybe it's because they're straight-forward to love and hate, and that's what I'm missing. Of course, there are always other reasons behind such a character, perhaps the lack of family care, or some things experienced in the process of growing up. But I don't think there is anything wrong with such a character. Of course, for Nadine, her character still contains these withdrawn elements.
But if I could choose again, I would choose to be a weird cool girl at the age of 18.
