I'm a little embarrassed to say, the Rocky series, Creed 1, I haven't watched the previous one (but it didn't affect it). After watching Creed 2, I feel that it is necessary to make up for the previous ones.
How should I put it, compared to those movies that have been released recently, I was pleasantly surprised after watching this one.
The main line of the plot is uneventful, and the stories of general sports movies are almost the same. It can even be said that the plot of Creed 2 is simpler, failure - cheer - defeating the opponent, and there is no turning point in the middle. So there is not much to say about the main character of the main character. Personally, I think Creed's opponent, Drago, is very good, and the actor's acting skills are also very good. The most impressive thing is that there are two contrasting shots: when I went to the United States for the first time to compete with Creed, I saw Creed's gorgeous appearance. When the fame and fortune ended in the backstage, he watched the changes in the eyes of the audience. He and his father have lived together since childhood, and all they know is boxing. Unlike my father who always wanted revenge, I think he wanted more to show his success to his mother who abandoned him and his father since childhood. Although his mother only had two scenes, it was a must. Her eyes and smile seemed to say that you are all waste no matter what. So in the end, when I was about to lose, but I didn't lose, I saw my mother leave in the middle and the chair collapsed when the chair was empty. Then our protagonist's halo blessing maximizes KO.
In addition, the picture of this movie is really beautiful, the color, composition, and visual effects make people feel very comfortable. The soundtrack and interlude of the film are also very good, which can set off the atmosphere very well. Before the final match, the scene of the two training was interspersed, and people immediately became excited. Speaking of which, I would also like to mention that the director has a great plot setting: At the beginning of that battle, Drago was the kind of wild way to fight black boxing (I don’t understand this, sorry) Creed is regular training. By the training before the final battle, the two seemed to have swapped their identities, with Drago starting formal training and creed going to field training.
Overall, I think this movie is solid. The rhythm of the story, the acting skills of the actors, the art design, the modeling, the soundtrack, the visual effects... are all very stable. No big mistake. I think the only downside is that the central protagonist's mental journey is a bit slow here.
Score: 8.5
In fact, I can't help but want to spit it out. I feel that more and more movies have been made over the years, but the quality has dropped significantly. So that the score line is constantly decreasing. Like this movie, it was only average before. That's it. Not much to say.
