This isn't just a disaster movie, it's a movie against dark powers. Wow, it's up to you to get a good grade, hurry up and get a high score. I'm blown away, my heart is broken. Are black movies really good for the sake of black? Is a group of silly protagonists really good? I'm speechless anyway. In fact, there are many excellent films in Korea that express dissatisfaction with the dark power, but this film is by no means excellent, and even in my viewing experience, it is unqualified.
I've seen a lot of disaster movies, and most of them say the problem is so difficult that no one can solve it. At this time, the protagonist appeared, using superb technology and amazing ability to save his family from the turbulent. But this film...emmmm. Of course, I admit that the above plot is very vulgar and has no new ideas, but it is often a mature logic chain in line with the logic of the story. The reason for the vulgarity is that most of those disaster films come from super big companies and use assembly lines to make movies. The pros and cons without new ideas will not be clear for a while, but the right and wrong of the logic of the story can be finalized.
"The Monster of the Han River" defames the government, the army, foreign scientists, and even hospitals. I have no objection to this. I have reservations. This film is also a personal hero. It is not surprising in the film. This setting is qualified in a sci-fi film, and a political film is also qualified. Combining the two is neither fish nor fowl. There is a political film in the United States called "The Enemy of the Nation". In front of the government, ordinary people are powerless. It can kill you in less than two hours, but the protagonist has a god-assist - an agent who has been incognito for 20 years. Then a series of gods manipulated the world for peace, and it felt very exciting. Why is this film different? Because they are ordinary people, the protagonist still lacks protein since childhood and is a bit stupid. Ordinary people who open a small shop have no heroic temperament, but they are the ones who killed the monsters.
You would say that civilian heroes are more valuable. Why is Spiderman so awesome? Because he's mutated; why is Iron Man so tugging? Because he has money. All the logic of the story is written on the basis that the protagonist later becomes more powerful than the villain. The protagonist of the film uses gasoline to burn the monster to subdue. But the army's tanks and cannons failed to catch the monster. What did the director want to express? If the protagonist can use a series of public opinions, public support, and foreign aid, the government can be forced to admit its mistakes and save people. That's the same as those good Korean movies, I might still cry.
At the beginning of the story, the protagonist is not afraid of monsters at all, and rushing up is a meal. He must be applauded here. Afterwards, he insisted that his daughter was still alive. This is also the point of view that the whole film wants to express - the inaction of the powerful. The story conflict also came to a climax, but I just felt weird. The government's inaction must have its deep-seated disputes of interests, such as South Korea's religious offerings, the financial expenditures of various countries, and the source of mobile phone signals. It is easy to check, but what about privacy issues? What about scheduling contacts?
For example, if you want to check your wife's calling location, you need to ask someone at the district manager level for authorization. Does your wife want privacy? Isn't this the power of darkness?
Another example is that someone stole your mobile phone and you call the police, but the police usually don't care, you are very angry, right? They can administratively find out where the phone was last and even where it was, but they don't. Because there is no money . A mobile phone costs 3,000 yuan, and it is conservatively estimated that it will cost 30,000 yuan to find that phone. They usually file a case for you, tell you to go back and wait for the notification, and then ignore it. It is only a piece of paper for filing a case. Are you willing to spend such a high cost to find a mobile phone? You want it, and neither do other taxpayers. But one day, he stole 40 phones, he got caught, and then you get a call to claim your phone, maybe it's already sold, maybe it's still there.
And if you call the police and kill someone, then you have to pay an infinite cost to solve the case.
This all points to a core issue, interest.
The government is not stupid, and of course it has to do what is beneficial to him. If the dead people do not solve the case, the regime will collapse. The most favorable position of this film is to catch the monster and lock it up for research. Because they all want to find the virus on the monster. But director Men Qing said that catching someone who has been in contact with them is no more comfortable than catching a monster. This is not in line with the logic of interest.
The protagonist received a call saying that her daughter called. This is an important clue, a clue that is beneficial to the government. They have no reason to pretend not to hear. (One thing to say here, anyway, I'll call 110 first to call the police to save me.) And they also sent tanks and infantry in the movie. Just didn't catch it. So I think it's black for black's sake. Assuming that the government has no intention of catching monsters at all, that's fine, then at least allocate a light among these powers to help them defeat the monsters. In the movies I saw, everyone was blackened. Doctors, telephone companies, and disinfection companies all have to take away the money the protagonist bought a mobile phone for his daughter during routine inspections.
When the whole world is against you, you can survive only by mutation. After all, the poor rely on mutation, and the rich rely on technology. You win without mutation. It's a disgraceful win. It's the director who made you win.
The government cannot be blindly thoughtless. One star for encouragement.
A few suggestions:
1. Do not black foreign scientists: A group of scientists leaked a large amount of toxic liquid into the Han River due to an accident. A few years later, a group of strange creatures appeared in the Han River. The film said that the laboratory ordered its subordinates to pour venom into the Han River. What misunderstanding does it have on scientists?
2. With the masses : Expose the American soldier who died of scientific research, not the virus. sparked mass riots. Let me say that the government is hiding what it really wants to do.
3. A bright and powerful man : In the play, the manager of the mobile company thought he was helping him, but he just wanted to get a reward. In fact, telling him the escape route, using the reward for saving people or making a suggestion, he felt a little warm.
3. Variation . Looking forward to the second part, he said back pain in the hospital, I thought it had grown claws or something. I don't know what the end result is.
