What are the highlights of "Carol"?

It's a wonderful detail. At Phil's party, Terrys saw her ex-boyfriend dancing intimately with other women. At night, everyone was drunk in the room. The reporter who used to pursue Terrys was snuggled by a girl, still in the room. Watching a movie and taking notes...Tress has become excellent in her career, and her character is still hesitant and weak, but time is running out, and those friends who seem to like her and welcome her can't really accompany her.

So Tris went into the night and went to find Carol. It must also be because she still loves Carol, but that cannot be denied: she is alone.

Not being able to take the initiative to grasp emotions well is also one of the characters of human beings. However, when this kind of person walks from the emotionally abundant multiple-choice situation to the "end of the road", his heart is somewhat bitter. Teres was not a vain girl, she left the party with a calm expression.

Fortunately, there is also Carroll's "I love you", which gave Terris an emotional harbor.

Barely 4 stars. Very mediocre, although the completion is very good, but it lacks such an attractive and unforgettable point. The story and format are okay, just don't catch people. Cate Blanchett's performance is average.

Carol quotes

  • Therese Belivet: Have you ever been in love with a boy?

    Richard Semco: No.

Therese Belivet: But you've heard of it.

Richard Semco: Of course. I mean, have I heard of people like that? Sure.

Therese Belivet: I don't mean people like that. I just mean two people who fall in love with each other. Say, a boy and a boy. Out of the blue.

Richard Semco: I don't know anyone like that. But I'll tell you this: there's always some reason for it, in the background.

Therese Belivet: So you don't think it could just... happen to somebody. To anybody.

Richard Semco: No. I don't. What are you saying? Are you in love with a girl?

    Therese Belivet: No.

  • Therese Belivet: What town is this again?

[the morning after they first made love]

    Carol Aird: This? Waterloo.

    [laughs]

    Carol Aird: Isn't that awful?
