The story has an end, but what do you want

I still feel moved to watch "Legend of Magic Strings" again on CCTV6. Compared to the first time I saw all kinds of wonderful pictures and the ingeniousness of the puppet and paper, I read its story more carefully this time, and found that it is really a more casual experience. The so-called randomness is not casual, but that everything happens in this world, and it moves forward in certain thoughts, and this story is the same.

"Legend of the Magic Strings" is not like the storytelling methods of Disney and Hollywood. It wants to tell a story with complete logic, exciting ups and downs, and following the golden rule.

The concept of story is emphasized throughout the film. Kubo is a boy who plays a shamisen and origami and tells stories, so he knows that all stories have an end, and his life has an end, but Kubo has no sadness like his fear of ending. Like his grandfather, he flew to the moon in search of endless but silent immortality.

The world is full of bad things such as suffering, grief, and parting. Kubo's grandfather took his family to the moon to stay away from everything in the world. Their eyes became dim and they could no longer see other people's souls.

The grandfather asked his daughter to go to the world to kill the warrior Hanzo. While the daughter was dealing with Hanzo, Hanzo looked into her eyes and said four words to her: What do you want? In an instant, she saw love and warmth in Hanzo's eyes, which is the beauty of human nature.

If you want to get rid of the darkness in human nature once and for all, you must give up the good together, if you want to have love and warmth, you must accept the bad in human nature. This kind of explanation of people and the world makes me feel very at ease. I realize that the world doesn’t stop when I choose, just like Ulysses pushing a stone up a mountain, and when the stone doesn’t move halfway, you think Ulysses stops pushing The stone, in fact, is not. Ulysses tried his best to keep the stone from falling, and it took effort to maintain it. Therefore, in the eyes of others, you may not have done anything or acted, because you are the only one who is clearly and secretly competing with the world and the maintenance and inner circle. Don't underestimate the stillness.

This reminds me of the story of "The Master and Margarita", where the devil asks Jesus, is it possible to redeem everything as long as light comes to the world? At the same time, it is also questioning people. You have always pinned your hopes on the promised day of judgment and the arrival of light. You are waiting for the day when the light will cleanse the earth, so you can wait without effort and fall. Anyway, God will one day will come to the world. How can there be such a thing in the world? People's eyes are always looking far into the future, and the people at the moment can't even get a flick of the peripheral vision, and people have nothing but illusory waiting.

Far too far away, continue to talk about "The Legend of Magic Strings", Kubo has always longed for family and warmth, but when he encountered danger and separated from his mother, he immediately embarked on a journey with monkeys and insects. The journey was noisy, adventurous, and growing. There is happiness, as Kubo said: the end of one story is the beginning of another. In the end, the monkey and the bug who lost their memory remembered that they were mother and father, and the three of them spent a short but warm time. Therefore, even if his parents went to protect Kubo, Kubo still felt happy, because he knew that people have a powerful magic weapon is memory, memory can eliminate the sadness of separation and loss, and can make people calmly usher in the ending of all stories, " The end of a story is the beginning of a story." That's how immortality belongs to man.

If you're going to blink, do it now, because next time you're going to look at the world with your eyes, and look at the people you hold dear.
