This movie did give me a lot of inspiration. To be honest, I really don't have the courage to leave my parents and go outside, but this movie has given some courage to those who want to go out, maybe you Like the heroine, you will be lucky enough to meet so many people who are willing to help, provided you want to be a likable person.

And the heroine's mother and sister are the best models. If there were such enlightened parents in China, there would not be so many high school students jumping off the building.

But what I don't like is the description of the relationship. The heroine is a bit scumbag. You can't tell your mother when you are married, but the second male is very innocent and devoted his feelings, and he almost became the third male.

Overall, this movie has a good idea, and the music is also very good. I recommend it.

Brooklyn quotes

  • Mrs. Keogh: I'll tell you this much: I am going to ask Father Flood to preach a sermon on the dangers of giddiness. I now see that giddiness is the eighth deadly sin. A giddy girl is every bit as evil as a slothful man, and the noise she makes is a lot worse. Now, enough.

  • Frankie Fiorello: So, first of all, I should say that we don't like Irish people.

[General cries of outrage around the table]

Frankie Fiorello: We don't! That is a well known fact! A big gang of Irish beat Maurizio up and he had to have stitches. And because the cops round here are Irish, nobody did anything about it.

Maurizio: There are probably two sides to it. I might have said something I shouldn't, I can't remember now. Anyway, they probably weren't all Irish.

Frankie Fiorello: They just had red hair and big legs.
