As of 2016, McDonald's is one of the largest real estate developers in the world.
Does the spirit of craftsmanship have to run counter to commercialization? Being thick-hearted, black-lipped, and fooling around is really a prerequisite for success today.
Persistence.
Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence.
Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.
But I personally think that it is just a beautification of one's own behavior after success. There is no right or wrong in business.
You know what I came up with: a concept.
I came with the concept of winning while you two boys were content to sit back and become a couple of alsorans.
I wanna take the future. I wanna win.
And you don't get there by being some “aw shucks” nice guy sap.
There's no place in business for people like that.
Business is war. It's dog eat dog, rat eat rat. If my competitor were drowning. I'd walk over and put a hose right in his mouth.
