I have seen the movie once and liked it very much. Today I just went to GWU to see the Rocky's horror picture show (RHPS) on Halloween. FPP presents: The 24th Annual Rock Horror Picture Show, by Forbidden Planet Productions.
The background is a movie that is shown simultaneously. I have to say, it's really cult. Strange costumes on stage, perfectly restored. There were 400 to 500 people in the audience, and many people in the audience would recite their lines and recite the scene touchingly. There are also a lot of people gags like a commentary (it is said that there is a script, just like a barrage, but everyone calls out the same barrage at a certain time), the atmosphere is very warm, and there is never a cold scene.
For those who have not seen the RHPS stage play, watching the play for the first time will be a magical experience. When you line up, you will see a lot of people wearing transvestite clothes, which means that you are beginning to approach the circle. When queuing up, someone will ask you if it is your first time to see it. If so, you will be drawn with a V on your face with lipstick to represent virgin, indicating that you may be drawn to participate in the virgin game before the opening of the meeting. After entering the venue, the content is basically unsuitable for children. Meat jokes are already a tradition, don't panic if you happen to be in trouble :) If you have seen it once, it is not virgin, but called slut :)
Before the opening, all performers will introduce themselves with meat jokes, and then the host will let the performers go to the stage to search for people with V logo, "Sluts, go and get me some virgins!", and then the selected "lucky one" ” was called to the stage to do some “fun” little activities. For example, perform the position according to the description and explain the reason. Of course, the most sensational part was the question and answer session at the end, where the three boys on stage were asked to answer some colored questions, and those who answered incorrectly would be asked to undress. Of course, it won't get you right anyway :) Orgasms are of course stripped of underwear in full view.
After that, there is a wonderful stage performance, and the music is the essence.
By deviating so much from talking about stage plays, I actually want to highlight the influence of this RHPS film on contemporary culture from the side. Seemingly niche movies, its fans have produced dense energy, which constantly reverberates. Just being at GWU can attract so many hard core people, you can imagine how many potential fans there are.
