In fact, after watching the whole movie, I didn't really understand it. The first is that Kendrick and Lively met and made friends because their children met at the same school, and then it became a bit of an affair. By the time Lively "died", Kendrick was in bed with Lively's husband all of a sudden. Personally I think it's a little too fast. After rolling the sheets, his IQ rose steadily, which didn't quite fit the silly and cute image at the beginning of the movie. Later, when Kendrick listened to Lively's recording, he seemed to recognize Lively's husband as a scumbag, but his husband and Lively had colluded before, and finally Kendrick and Lively's husband tricked Lively into confessing the crime together. It's confusing, isn't that man and woman already enemies with each other? So after reading it, I have always been a little puzzled about this thing, and I feel that the director did not explain it clearly. But the style of painting feels good. Maybe the director wants to distinguish it from the film "Gone Lover", but the atmosphere feels weird, and I can't tell why.
