tightrope walk for love

This movie freaks me out! The scary thing is that the heroine is completely an outcast of God, but she is real. Because of the misfortune of her childhood family, she has become a sex worker who can only survive by selling her body for money. She is tired of men being rude to her. She can't stand the rudeness of her life anymore. When she is about to die, she meets a little girl who is still in the rebellious period, longing for freedom and romance The reason for the heroine to live gave her love. The heroine began to have hope in life. I believe that everything will be okay, but the good times don't last long. She has never really loved the heroine, she doesn't know what she means to the heroine. In the end, the heroine also saved her girl and preserved her love.

From a bystander's point of view, the heroine is really miserable. From her own point of view, I think she should at least not be so depressed and have nothing to be depressed about. At least she once won her for her love for her girl. Make money, give her romance, make herself more manly, and even kill for her. Of course, she knows that killing is wrong. The female partner finally woke up because the heroine killed someone. She regained her original sense of right and wrong and became ruthless. She also loves her very much. But there is no way, everything is for survival, she gave her the possibility of another life, but finally pushed her into the abyss

  • Aileen: Everybody just thinks I'm this bad shitty fucking person, and all I'm fucking tryin' to do is survive, you know?

Thomas: I know. I know what you do for a living. It doesn't bother me. I know you didn't dial it up on a goddamn telephone. That's where you landed. That's what you had to do. What you're feeling right now is just guilt, over something you had absolutely no control over. You know how many of us came back from the war? And almost killed ourselves because we felt exactly the same thing you do, right now.

    Aileen: Yeah?

Thomas: Yeah. And they'll never get it. They'll never get it now, they never got it then, and they sure as hell won't get fucking circumstance!

Aileen: Fuck, man, circumstance, that's exactly it, that's exactly it. You know I feel like I never even had a fucking choice.

Thomas: You never did. But you gotta live. You gotta live.

  • Aileen: [points to the bartender] You owe me change!

    [pause]

Aileen: Fuck it. I'm outta here!

    Selby: Oh, are you sure-

    [touches Lee's shoulder]

Aileen: [rises from chair and pushes Selby off] GET YOUR FUCKIN' HANDS OFF ME, YOU DUMB DYKE! I'm not gonna fuck you for a fucking beer, alright? So, stop wasting your fuckin' time!
