The movie is full of satire on the classic 007 series. 007 threw hats, Bean threw clothes, 007 drove an Aston Martin, he did the same. The same save the world, the same beauties accompany them, and even the beginning language style is the same. However, 007 is to be handsome and easy to defeat the enemy, and Bean is lucky to capture the enemy after repeated embarrassment.
I have been thinking about how to subvert the 007 series of movies. Stephen Chow went in the opposite direction and created a very low agent. Bean is the same. False hypocrisy emerges. (Only at the beginning, followed by purposeless spoofs)
To be honest, the movie's laughs are pretty old-fashioned, and it's basically limited to making a fool of Bean. Of course Bean's performance is good, but I personally think that kind of hilarious and exaggerated performance is suitable for short plays. I can't bear to watch a fool's performance for 2 hours. Relatively speaking, Zhou Xingchi's performance in "Domestic Lingling Paint" is better and more cinematic.
