The following is my personal opinion on this film, if there is something wrong, please laugh at it.
It's not so much a zombie theme, it's an inspirational theme. What the real movie wants to describe is a common phenomenon that exists in today's society.
The film directly enters the world occupied by zombies, and the male protagonist lives alone. Play all kinds of things every day, listen to the voice of your childhood on the tape, and do what you "want to do" or "can only do". It is also possible that the male protagonist lived this kind of life before the zombie world, so at the beginning, it was not obvious that the male protagonist had any exaggerated behaviors and actions.
Metaphor: It’s like many people are content with the status quo. For example, they go to drink with friends after work every day, and they talk about past topics. .
Later, a woman appeared. Although she died, she had hallucinations in the hero's heart. At the end of the building, the woman said the last sentence: Even if my choice was wrong, at least I tried it.
Metaphor: In fact, everyone knows that they cannot be content with the status quo. They have to work hard and make progress, whether it is depression or procrastination, but they are indifferent. But there will still be a voice that wakes me up to stop like this, I guess everyone has felt this way.
In the end, the protagonist burned the tapes, the fire set off the alarm, and the zombies rushed in. The male protagonist was "forced" to flee to the roof, and swung to the opposite roof with his fly catch.
Metaphor: If you want to move forward, you must really let go (this process is very painful and requires a lot of determination), forcing yourself to change yourself, and being cruel to yourself will not allow yourself to move forward. To change your life, you must first change yourself.
Another point worth mentioning is that the "old zombie friend" trapped in the elevator is actually himself in the hero's mirror. In the end, the old zombie was released, which means that the male protagonist released himself from his "cage".
Metaphor: Many people in society cannot succeed and cannot progress. They are immersed in a life of indifference every day, and they feel more and more disgusted with themselves every day. Do you realize it? If you realize it, you should free yourself from the cage of your own thinking.
The male protagonist looks at the endless roof, no one knows what the future holds, but he has tried it, and he may still be eaten by zombies in the end, or it may be another scene to climb over several roofs. No matter what others think or what happened before, let go of unnecessary burdens and treat your life positively.
thank you all.
