I was fortunate to see this good film in the elective course. The story is clever, the director did a good job, and the actors acted well. I like it.
The story is roughly as follows:
17 years ago, there was a serial murder of women with extremely bad influence in the society. The cunning murderer skillfully escaped the net of justice. When the 15-year lawsuit expired, when the murderer completely escaped legal punishment. That day, the families of the victims were desperate because of incompetent police officers and brutal murderers. Just when everyone thought that the shadow of the tragedy was about to dissipate, the publication of a book called "I Am a Murderer" shocked everyone, and the author of the book was none other than Li Doushik, the initiator of the murder case back then. . With this book, Li Doushik became an instant hit and made a fortune. However, as a police detective who hunted down the murderer back then, Cui Xiangjiu did not believe that Li Doushik was the criminal back then, and a fierce cat-and-mouse battle started between the two. As the story develops, the conflict becomes more and more intense, and the victim's family unites to kidnap Li Doushik, but police detective Cui Xiangjiu goes deep into the tiger's den to rescue him. At this time, a mysterious person appeared. He claimed that he was the murderer of that year, so the three started a dialogue on the TV station. In the end, the truth came out. The mysterious man was indeed the murderer. Li Doushik was a family member of a certain victim. He was not recognized because of plastic surgery. Exploring Cui Xiangjiu. Cui Jiuxiang and Li Doosek acted together in a play for the real murderer to show the murderer.
First of all, I think the idea of this film is very good and relatively new, and I have never seen such a storyline before. Today's movies plagiarize and borrow too much from each other, and many movies will feel like deja vu. I remember that the teacher once played "Ten Days of Dangerous Love". After watching it for less than 20 minutes, I felt very familiar. This film is relatively old and I haven't seen it. I guess I have watched a certain film and learned from this one. This kind of borrowing can make people uncomfortable to watch, so the writers of "I Am a Murderer" still put a lot of effort into this (and may also borrow from a movie I haven't seen).
Secondly, I want to talk about two details of this film. Throughout the whole film, detectives Cui Jiuxiang and Li Doushik have a very good relationship and are very familiar with each other, and the book "I Am a Murderer" was written by Cui Jiuxiang, so the two have a good understanding of the whole process of the case and what they planned. This trap is well known.
The first detail is about 15 minutes at the beginning of the film. Cui Jiuxiang, who was sitting alone in front of the TV with his mother, showed a surprised and horrified expression when facing Li Doushik's performance at the new book launch. This should not be a plan. The expression that the person in this incident should have, his inner feelings should be confident and confident that he is proceeding step by step according to the plan. I feel like I'm not doing the right thing here.
The second detail is in the 18th minute of the film. In front of the film, Detective Cui Jiuxiang's feelings for Li Doushik are mainly anger, but in the police station, Cui Jiuxiang showed helplessness in the face of his boss. . But when Lee Doo-shik came to the police station, Cui Jiuxiang showed the anger he deserved in front of the crowd. I feel that Cui Jiuxiang has reservations here.
There are many details designed in the movie, so I won't repeat them one by one. Some details set off the plot, and some details are a little out of line with the plot.
Then I will talk about a plot interspersed here. The victim's family conspired together to tie Li Doushik and lock him up in the suburbs. As a police detective who hunted down suspects 15 years ago, Cui Jiuxiang did not show a trace of schadenfreude, but was extremely anxious. During the kidnapping of Lee Doo-seok by the suspect, Cui Jiuxiang spared no effort to save Lee Doo-seok. And there is a certain amount of space in the film describing how Cui Jiuxiang went deep into the tiger's den to rescue Li Doushik. I feel that this is also paving the way for the ending, and paving the way for Li Doushi and Cui Jiuxiang to have known each other for a long time. Such a plot can make the ending not hasty, and such a plot can also express all the details that cannot be expressed. It has to be said here that the director's handling of the plot was not delicate enough to make this decision.
I was not very satisfied with the ending of this film. The three had a conversation on TV. After the truth was revealed, they designed a plot where the murderer escapes and the police detective chases. The design here is very abrupt. After watching the whole film, people show a kind of wisdom, but the chase at the end shows violence to people. At the end of the film, the police detective kills the murderer, which is even more incomprehensible. The murderer is arrested within the validity period of the lawsuit and can be punished by the law. In this way, the traps designed by Cui Jiuxiang and Li Doushi throughout the film are wise, and the whole story shows It is also the victory of good over evil. At the end, Cui Jiuxiang killed the murderer, and he was sent to prison in a short time. Could it be that if the director wanted to cast Cui Jiuxiang as an ordinary person, he would get out of control? I did not understand.
That's all, let's talk a little bit about your own afterthought.
