This youth drama was a big hit back then, and even the movie theme song "Those Years" became popular all over China. The background of the film should be the campus in the 8.90s, which belongs to the youthful memory of contemporary middle-aged people. It does not really resonate much with the current post-90s and post-00s college students. It is more of a reminiscence of youth. After watching the movie, many people can say that the most profound impact is that the girl poked the boy's back with a pen. Later, the back of the boy's white shirt hanging on the balcony was densely packed with blue refill ink.
It is very common to fall in love and kill each other on campus, but after decades of recalling it, it brings tears to my eyes.
